
Mr Miran Pankhania
Consultant Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgeon
Mr Pankhania is a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and Director of Steel City Surgical Ltd.
He has a special interest in nasal surgery, including minimal access sinus and tear duct surgery, local anaesthetic (awake) sinus surgery, rhinoplasty, septorhinoplasty, as well as general ENT including paediatric ENT such as tonsils, adenoids, and grommets.
He graduated from the University of Leicester in 2008 to embark on the prestigious anatomy demonstrator academic foundation programme cohort of 2008-2010.
He then moved to the Oxford deanery to undertake his core surgical training in ENT and Plastic Surgery before taking an additional year to train in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the West Midlands.
Mr Pankhania started his higher ENT training in Yorkshire in 2013 and has received comprehensive training in rhinology, anterior skull base, and pituitary surgery across the major teaching hospitals in the region.
He entered the specialist register in 2019 with 20 peer reviewed publications to his name and subsequently undertook a fellowship in Birmingham with Mr Shahzada Ahmed in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery prior to starting as a fully-fledged consultant surgeon.
